What did I do to deserve this?
Since the Garden of Paradise I crawl, debased.
Tell me why one must suffer for the whole,
and the congregation for the leader?
Don't try to pass it with hypocrisy
and exclamatory utterances.
We all know the truth.
Because of one mistake
and a woman's fading wisdom,
I and the rest of my kind become
forever an abomination to Creation.
So we crawl on out belly,
and hunt your spiders and mice,
with no other defense than a forked tongue
and a hissing face.
What did we do to deserve this?
